Demellier Offices and Showroom

A brand is experienced not only through its products, but through the spaces that represent it.

As DeMellier entered a new phase of growth, the brand commissioned the design of its new London headquarters, bringing together offices, meeting rooms and a showroom within a single workspace. The brief was to create an environment that reflected the character of the brand while supporting the everyday life of a growing team.

The project translates the atmosphere of a domestic interior into a contemporary workplace. Open-plan workspaces, informal meeting areas and carefully proportioned rooms encourage collaboration while maintaining a calm and welcoming environment. The showroom is conceived as a natural extension of the office, allowing the collection to be experienced within a setting that feels intimate rather than conventional retail.

A series of bespoke display cabinets, inspired by the idea of a cabinet of curiosities, became the organizing element of the project. They create a carefully composed backdrop where each handbag is presented as an individual object, balancing craftsmanship, materiality, and proportion. The display evolves with each new collection, allowing the space to change while retaining a coherent architectural identity.

Natural materials, warm tones and carefully selected furniture create an atmosphere that reflects the understated elegance of the brand. The result is a workplace that supports creativity, welcomes clients, and expresses the values of DeMellier.
