A home where the gardens are conceived as an extension of the architecture.

A complete renovation of a traditional finca just moments from Migjorn Beach, this project transforms a modest island house into a place designed entirely around Mediterranean living. The design reinforces the quiet simplicity of the original architecture, allowing the landscape, light and everyday life to become the defining elements of the home.

At its heart, a generous kitchen serves as the social centre of the house—a place designed as much for preparing meals as for gathering family and friends around a long table. From there, the interiors unfold through a sequence of carefully framed openings that constantly reconnect the eye with the surrounding gardens, the pine trees and glimpses of the sea beyond.

The architecture was conceived together with the landscape. The garden creates another series of rooms: shaded terraces, a swimming pool, a chiringuito, an outdoor kitchen and barbecue, a long dining table beneath the trees, quiet corners for reading, games and conversation, and open spaces that naturally change character from morning to late evening.

The material palette remains intentionally understated. Lime washed walls, natural stone, timber, polished concrete and handcrafted elements draw on the vernacular architecture of the Balearic Islands, enriched with collected objects and subtle ethnic influences that reflect a life of travel.
