Chalet BLB
Set on the edge of the ski slopes with panoramic views across the surrounding peaks, this chalet was conceived as a place of retreat where architecture reinforces the rituals of mountain living. The interiors create a sense of shelter, allowing warmth, materiality, and the changing alpine light to define the experience of the home.
A palette of reclaimed timber, natural stone, linen, and handcrafted elements establish continuity throughout the interiors. Existing structural beams were carefully preserved, and traditional construction techniques allows the history of the building to remain visible while introducing a contemporary language based on simplicity, proportion, and permanence.
Designed as a year-round refuge, every room encourages a slower pace of living. Generous fireplaces, intimate spaces and carefully framed views create an authentic atmosphere and a profound connection to place.
